I’ve compiled a list of the most frequent questions that I have received over my career. It’s normal and encouraged for clients to ask many questions when choosing to work with a licensed Therapist. Q:     What are your qualifications?​​ 


​A:      I currently have a Doctorate in Psychology.  I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor MH17755 with over 8 years of experience in the field. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor and hold a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional Certification.

 

         After graduating from Troy University with my Master's in Counseling and Psychology, I have worked in several different capacities. I have experience with inpatient group settings, outpatient counseling settings to include working with those suffering from addiction and working towards recovery, depression and anxiety among other mental health concerns. One of my most rewarding experiences was working with PTSD survivors. I most enjoy being a part of my client's journey to mental health recovery. 

        Also, I have been an Adjunct Psychology Professor for over the past 6 years and have been immersed in the academic arena which has allowed me to assist undergraduate psychology majors who wish to go into higher levels of education.

Q:     How much does therapy cost? 


A:      Individual session $200 (50 minutes), Family Sessions/Couples/Relationship Coaching $155 (75 minutes). Credit/Debit cards, HSA, FSA cards, through IvyPay are accepted as payment at the time of service. I am able to provide "out-of-network" receipts/superbill that you may submit to insurance upon request. Reduced fee for1st Responders and Ex-military, please call to discuss. 
 

Q:     Do you offer online counseling?


A:      YES!  Currently, I offer exclusively online through virtual/telehealth sessions through a secure platform with the hopes of being to offer face to face in the future.
 

Q:     What is my specialty? 


A:      I specialize in working with adolescence and their families and adults. Grief, Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, addictions, behavioral issues, communication style  improvement, self-confidence building, and relationship improvements are some of the issues that I treat in my practice.  Feel free to contact me to see if we would be a good fit or each other. 
 

Q:    How long does counseling last?


​A:     Your therapeutic experience is tailored to you and your therapeutic needs.  No one therapy session is identical to another.  During the intake session, I will be more than happy to discuss time frames specific to your goals.
 

Q:     What type of consultation services do you offer?
A:      Currently, I offer career consultation services for those looking to enhance or change their current career paths.
